For our customers, re-upholstery for desk chairs and other office seating gives you the opportunity to completely update the look of your business environment by either picking new fabrics from Conklin’s extensive offerings or providing one of your own choosing.  We currently offer over 130 grade 1 fabrics made of 100% recycled content.  Our vast selection of chair fabric offerings include: CF Stinson, Burch Fabrics, Absecon, and Douglas.

During the business furniture re-upholstery process, many factors are analyzed to be sure that the chair first meets Conklin’s high standards of quality. Depending on the style of seating, the following areas may be inspected: the frame, springs, padding, fasteners, pneumatic adjustments, wheels/casters and overall structural integrity.

Any chair with a wood frame can be sent to our wood-refinishing department for touch up or a complete finish change. Chairs with plastic or metal frames can be refinished by our painting department.

When we replace a chair's fabric the new chair fabric is custom sewn for the best fit possible. Before declaring it finished, we double check the chairs’ pneumatic functions and casters and then reinspect the paint job or wood finish to be absolutely sure we are delivering a top-quality product to our customer.

By offering these used office furniture renovation and restoration services, Conklin gives our customers the ability to match their "new" used office furniture purchase with their existing furniture, interior design / decor, or building parameters. Once our reupholstery services are completed and quality control has inspected the piece, we will have produced a pre-owned office chair that looks and performs like new but offers substantial savings off list pricing for comparable new office chairs.
