Open Positions

Conklin Office Furniture is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our facility. This full-time, in-person role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and coordination with contractors while supporting critical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Lubricate machinery, replace filters, and inspect for wear to prevent equipment failures.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities meet safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Track maintenance, repairs, and equipment history using facility maintenance software.
  • Contractor Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with external contractors for specialized tasks.
  • General Maintenance: Perform carpentry, painting, cleaning, and other upkeep duties.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance.
  • Communication: Collaborate with supervisors, departments, and contractors on maintenance needs.
  • Routine Inspections: Conduct regular facility checks to identify and resolve issues early.
