Account Manager

Hiring for Two Openings, One in Each Office

One Account Manager will support the Furniture Sales Team in our Red Bank, New Jersey, office, and another in our Holyoke, Massachusetts, office, by managing customer accounts, coordinating project and order details, and serving as a key point of contact for clients throughout the fulfillment process. This role is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating with internal departments, and helping ensure projects move smoothly from initial request through delivery and installation. This position focuses on account support, customer service, project coordination, and overall client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and respond to inquiries, requests, and project needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the Furniture Sales Team by managing customer communications, account activity, and project-related follow-up.
  • Review customer requests, specifications, product selections, and order details for completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate order entry, acknowledgments, lead times, delivery schedules, and installation details with internal departments and vendor partners.
  • Work closely with sales, project management, operations, design, customer service, and installation teams to support successful project execution.
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding order status, project schedules, product availability, and service needs.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns, service issues, and order discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Track project details and account activity to ensure accurate follow-up and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Help manage furniture projects through the order fulfillment process, including quote revisions, product changes, scheduling coordination, and closeout items.
  • Maintain organized account records, correspondence, quotes, and project documentation.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in account management, customer service, order management, or project coordination preferred.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM and order management systems. Syteline experience and CAP Studio are a plus.
  • Ability to review quotes, product information, and order details accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to support project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of furniture products, finishes, order processes, and installation coordination is a plus.

Annual Salary: $65,000 to $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
